CultureHQ allows you to edit and enhance images and videos that have been saved in stories.

Accessing the Editing Studios

To access the image and video editing studios, open a story and click on the "..." in the top right. Then in the dropdown, click on "Edit Image" or "Edit Video."

Customized Templates

The CultureHQ team can import or recreate your branded templates for use with image and video editing. To get started, an admin should reach out to the CultureHQ team.

Editing Images

The CultureHQ image editing studio allows you to:

  • Use a custom template that the CultureHQ team can make available

  • Use preset templates to overlay the story trend, story caption, and author's profile image, name, and title

  • Add custom headers and text

  • Import additional photos to the original photo

You'll find three editing modes on the left side of the image studio.

In the "Templates" mode, any custom templates will appear at the very top.

Use the options at the top-right to change the image dimensions, adjust the colors of your edits, and undo/redo your editing actions.

When saved, your edited image will overwrite the original in your story.

Editing Videos

The CultureHQ video studio allows you to:

  • Overlay custom or preset templates on your video

  • Add intros and outros

  • Trim and split your video

  • Add and edit subtitles, translate them into other languages, and (if you'd like), burn them permanently onto the video

  • Incorporate music tracks (customized tracks can be added by the CultureHQ team)

  • Overlay images or videos onto the original

  • Select a thumbnail from a frame in your video

You'll find six editing modes on the left side of the video studio.

In the "Templates" mode, any custom templates will appear at the very top.

Use the options at the top-right to change the video dimensions, adjust the colors of your edits, and undo/redo your editing actions.

Use the options below the video to zoom out of the tracks, adjust the layers, and split the video.

When saved, your edited video will overwrite the original in your story.
