Setting up and approving user recognitions

Recognitions can be given to individuals or to groups of employees.  Each recognition is given with a badge (recognition type), and can also include tags for company value(s).

Use the Settings link in the Admin dropdown, and then open the Recognition Types tab.  Here, you may add or remove recognition types by clicking on the green button.

You may also adjust the privilege level for each recognition type by clicking on the Edit link.  Privileges may be set to:

  • Open -- anyone can use this recognition type

  • Admin approval -- admins must approve recognitions of this type that are created before they are published

  • Admin only -- only admins may use this recognition type

The recognitions that require admin approval may be approved through the Review link in the admin dropdown.

Here, click on the Recognition tab to view and approve any pending recognitions:
